Web Design & DevelopmentWebsites that work for you.

We design and develop websites that look good on every device, load quickly and get found. From one-pagers to large corporate websites.

Scope of services

What goes into a website.

Your website is often the first contact with new customers. It should lead visitors to an enquiry and show who you are along the way. We plan every project around this: with a clear structure, your own design and clean technology. We accompany you from the first idea to launch and beyond. You have one fixed point of contact and can see how far your project has come at any time.

Structure & Content

We decide which page answers which of your visitors' questions.

  • Sitemap and purpose of every page
  • One main action per page
  • Copy and photos as needed
  • Short contact forms
  • Content audit for relaunches

Design & Usability

We design for mobile first and then expand for larger screens.

  • Clickable prototype
  • Building blocks for every page type
  • Thumb-friendly navigation
  • Visible keyboard focus
  • Contrast to WCAG 2.1 AA

Technology & CMS

We choose the system to suit your day-to-day work, not our preference.

  • Storyblok for larger editorial teams
  • Rocketsite on Payload CMS
  • WordPress for small websites
  • Development with Next.js or Nuxt
  • Custom content types where needed

Launch & Visibility

So your website can be found and loads quickly from day one.

  • Redirects for old addresses
  • Page titles and meta descriptions
  • Sitemap in Search Console
  • Optimised images and fonts
  • CMS training

Process

From initial consultation to go-live.

This is how your website comes together, with a clear result after every step.

  1. 01

    Content audit

We clarify your goals and take stock of what already exists.

For a relaunch, we list every address of the old website, including PDFs and old posts. Google Search Console shows us which pages bring in visitors.

OutcomeA list of all pages with a clear decision for each

  2. 02

    Structure

We define the sitemap, purpose and main action of every page.

The schedule shows who supplies the content for each page and by when. In this step we also decide which system your website will run on.

OutcomeSitemap, content plan and chosen CMS

  3. 03

    Prototype

You click through a rough version of your website.

On mobile and desktop, you can see whether the menu, contact route and forms work. We agree on what should change in a joint workshop.

    OutcomeAn approved draft

  4. 04

    Test environment

We develop on a separate test environment while your old website stays online.

There we add the content and check loading time, keyboard navigation and contrast. We collect your feedback in rounds.

OutcomeA tested website ready for sign-off

  5. 05

    Go-live

The switch happens on a fixed date.

Every old address gets a redirect and we submit the new sitemap to Google. Beforehand, we show you in a training session how to change content yourself.

OutcomeYour website online, maintained by you

Focus areas

What matters to us.

Structure

Every page leads to a next step.

Visitors want to know quickly whether they are in the right place, whether you can help and how to reach you. That is why we plan the structure first: which pages there are, which question each one answers and which action comes first.

For PSP Taxi that is the phone call, for Wirbelsäulenpraxis Salzburg it is booking an appointment. Forms only ask for what you need for your first reply. Who writes the copy and supplies the photos is in the schedule from the start.

Design

An original design that also works without a mouse.

We design every website from scratch, to suit your brand. The result is not a single layout but a set of building blocks: header, text with image, gallery, FAQ, contact. This keeps every new page consistent, even when you create it yourself.

We plan accessibility from the start and develop to WCAG 2.1 AA. We make sure there is sufficient contrast, visible labels in forms, a visible keyboard focus and a logical heading structure. In a new project, this adds hardly any extra effort.

Technology

The system follows your day-to-day work.

We recommend Storyblok when several people change content often and want to work directly in the preview. Rocketsite, our platform built on Payload CMS, runs on our own servers at Hetzner in Germany. Every client gets their own database and content types that fit their business.

For a small website that rarely changes, WordPress is often the more sensible choice. In the initial consultation, we will also tell you when a system costs more than it delivers.

Branding

One consistent look, everywhere.

Logo, colours, fonts and business stationery: we develop a visual identity that suits you and looks the same on your website, business card and social media. That way your customers recognise you everywhere.

For service providers, a website is rarely the product. It is the route to a conversation. We measure every decision on structure, design and technology against that.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know.

Ask a question
How much does a website cost?

We plan every website individually, so there is no off-the-shelf price. In the free initial consultation, we clarify goals, scope and features. You then receive a quote that sets out all costs openly.

Which system do you work with?

Usually with a headless CMS such as Storyblok, or with WordPress. Which one fits better depends on who maintains the content and which features you need. We advise you on this in the initial consultation.

Do you also take care of copy and photos?

Gladly. We create copy, photos and videos ourselves or with experienced partners from our network. Project management stays with us, so you still have one point of contact.

What happens after launch?

If you wish, we take care of hosting, backups, updates and maintenance. You simply send us change requests through our ticket system.

Does my website have to be accessible?

A purely informational website with a contact form is generally not covered by the Accessibility Act (BaFG). As soon as customers book or pay online, that can change. We develop to WCAG 2.1 AA anyway, so your website is easy for everyone to use.

Will we lose our Google rankings in a relaunch?

Clean redirects protect what your website has built up on Google. Every old address points to the matching new page and well-ranked pages keep their titles. Nobody can rule out short-term fluctuations, which is why we monitor Search Console in the weeks after launch.

Can I switch systems later?

Yes. In Storyblok and Payload CMS, your content is stored in a structured way and can be exported in full. Moving is still work, but it can be planned. With Rocketsite, we hand over your own database on request.
