Stumble AI puts together suitable English exercises every week for children in school years 5 to 8, developed by two English teachers. We developed the learning platform and its website entirely. There, visitors tick off a weekly plan, flip coach cards and try out a whole learning week without signing up.

01Starting point
Dominik and David teach English. Out of their teaching they developed Stumble AI: a learning plan that puts together suitable exercises every week for children in school years 5 to 8. It includes worksheets with answer sheets, four coaches and quizzes. The platform is aimed at parents and at teachers who use it to provide for their class.
The website was to show what a learning platform with AI actually delivers. Parents should see within a few seconds what a week with Stumble AI looks like. Getting started should be effortless.

02Solution
We developed the platform and the website entirely ourselves, with Nuxt and PostgreSQL. Instead of screenshots, the website shows building blocks of the product that you can click. A warm orange, plenty of white space and the characters Stumble and Polly give it a friendly look.
Weekly plan
The hero shows the learning plan for Emma, school year 6. Shortly after loading, the first task ticks itself off and the progress ring moves along. Visitors tick off the worksheet and quiz themselves until the week is done. So the principle is understood before you read on.
Four coaches
Grammatik Coach, Writing Coach, Speaking Coach and Quiz sit side by side as cards. One click flips a card and shows an example: Polly's explanation of the Past Simple, a correction to fix yourself, the feedback after reading aloud or a quiz question with an explanation.
Demo without sign-up
On the demo page, visitors click through Emma's week on the Past Simple. Grammatik Coach, Quiz and Writing Coach open in a separate window. The worksheet can be viewed with the listening text and the answer section.
There is also a page for teachers with a class overview and access cards, the learning concept from learning path to task, FAQ and newsletter. Every page is also available as a Markdown version so that AI assistants can reproduce it correctly.
