How to move to us.
We take over your existing website with domains and email without your visitors noticing.

Review
We look at what runs where today.
We clarify which system your website uses, where domains and mailboxes are hosted and who has which access. If the software is outdated, we tell you before the move.

Copy & test
We first set up your website as a copy on our servers.
We transfer files, database and media to our servers at Hetzner in Germany. Your current website stays online unchanged until the copy has been checked.

Email
We plan the move of your mailboxes.
Email is usually the trickiest part because mailboxes and DNS records have to move in the right order. We set up the mailboxes in advance and agree the time of the switch with you.

Switch
Domains and DNS point to the new servers.
We only switch the records once the new environment responds properly. Your current website keeps running until the switch has taken effect everywhere.

Support
From now on, we take care of day-to-day operations.
Backups and updates run from day one, and depending on the package also maintenance and monitoring. Once everything runs smoothly, you cancel your previous provider.

What we work with.
This is what your website and your data run on, in the EU and without detours via third parties.
What is the term of my contract?
All contracts have no fixed term. The minimum term is three months. After that, you can cancel with one month's notice to the end of the month. An email is enough. The details are set out in our terms and conditions.
Can I change package?
At any time. If you need more storage, domains or mailboxes, we switch your package, in either direction.
Is there a traffic limit?
No. Internal and external traffic is unlimited, so your visitors can use your website without restriction.
Do I get a data processing agreement?
Yes. We send you a completed data processing agreement to sign.
Are backups, updates and analytics included?
Backups and updates are included in every package. Maintenance, bug fixing and analytics are available from Businesscare Starter, monitoring and priority support in the Plus package.
How do I submit change requests?
Via our ticket system. You describe your request and immediately receive a confirmation with a ticket number. We deal with it as quickly as possible.
How secure is my data?
Your data is stored in a Hetzner data centre in Germany certified to ISO/IEC 27001. Backups run several times a day to a separate system and can be restored when needed.
Do I need support if my website hardly changes?
Yes. Even if you never touch a word of text, the software and servers receive ongoing security updates. A website that is never updated becomes vulnerable after a while.
Do you also take over websites built by another agency?
Yes. Before taking over, we check the system, extensions and access details. If the website is badly outdated, we tell you openly whether an update is worthwhile or a relaunch makes more sense.
Who is my domain registered to?
We recommend that you are registered as the owner, even if we manage the domain technically. The domain is your address on the internet. It should never be tied to an agency.
