In detail
What it is about
The Vienna Business Agency supports Viennese businesses that are moving their work to digital. This might be order processing, appointment scheduling, warehouse management or contact with your customers. What matters is that the project actually changes your processes. A new website or webshop on its own is not enough.
What this means for your project
Funding covers the costs of development and introduction, software and licences, and external consulting and training. The project must cost at least €10,000. You receive up to half of that as a grant, at most €50,000.
A website or shop can be part of a larger project. For example, when orders flow directly into your inventory management system, or when your customers book online and your team processes the bookings without paper. The Vienna Business Agency decides whether this is accepted in each case. Clarify this with its funding experts before you apply.
The process
You describe what you want to digitalise and what benefit you expect.
You obtain quotes. For items over €10,000 net, you include a cost estimate.
You submit online before you start implementation.
A jury assesses the projects. The decision usually comes after about two months.
You implement the project and submit your final claim online.
How Ruckzack supports you
We check with you which part of your project fits the funding. We write the technical project description and a quote that you can attach to the application.
For the implementation, we develop custom web solutions: customer portals, booking and ordering systems or interfaces to your accounting and inventory management. If an online shop is part of the project, we connect it so that orders flow on without manual retyping. We train your team on the new solution.
After the project, we can take care of hosting and support if you wish. These running costs are not part of the funding. You submit the application yourself. Only the Vienna Business Agency decides on the funding.
